No, not from a prelude to 2012,rather from all the Suns fans jumping off the band wagon. What happened in two days that made this team go from wonder to blunder? Get ready fans this is what we all have had in the back of our minds but refused to think about. One thing about our Suns, they don't just ease into horrible, they jump in with both feet. Just when you thought it was safe to believe, go figure. It’s only halftime at Cleveland and already the earth is tilting on it’s axis. After the Knicks fiasco this could be the start of that hard to face thing called reality. Are the Suns just a good team that played over their heads so far, or are we the real thing? Look, I know one game an NBA season doesn't make. However, the manner in which we lost to New York and the level of competition raises serious questions. Come to think of it neither did the rest of the Suns. Are you kidding me, we don't score 100 for the first time this season against a team who's coach can't even spell defense? Then we give up 126 to a 3 win team who are light years away from the Suns talent level. If I didn't know better I would think Di'Antoni was handed his Christmas gift early. I'll be surprised if Stern doesn't launch an investigation into this stinker. No excuse can be given for this one, just plain didn't show up. I thought we were past this, guess not.
