Getting a Little Lucky!

I don't believe in luck, except to say I think you have to be a little lucky to win an NBA
Title! At least lucky enough anyway to be ready, rolling at the right time.

Last season, the Miami Heat got hot late in the season, peaked going into the playoffs and assisted by the Dallas Mavericks a team that gave the finals away. They are now the defending NBA Champs!

In 1977 The Portland Trailblazers got an amazing season, an unusually healthy year from Bill Walton and won their only title. The Sonics in the finals for a second season in a row, won their only championship in 1979, just in time before Magic and Bird made their entry and set up a Celtic and Lakers Domination for a decade.

In 1994 and 1995 the Houston Rockets won back to back titles after Michael Jordan left the game to pursue a baseball career. Lucky Huh!!!

The Suns in 1976 and 1993 came so close to winning it all. Yet, in my estimation they are still the best franchise to have never won an NBA Title.

Two seasons ago who knows, what if Joe Johnson hadn't had his face re-arranged on the floor? What if Amaré hadn't been shelved by his knee surgery? The Suns with a little luck might have captured two NBA Trophies!

All right, at least one!

It's been said that luck is the "residue of design." The Suns have the design, the plan with which to get it done, now they need a break in the luck department. The Suns are the most exciting team in basketball!

Broadcasters from other teams continually come up to me and say, "How much fun is it to broadcast this team." The biggest problem we have is finding enough adjectives to describe what we see!! These Suns are the best show in the NBA. Can the league's best show win it all?!

Stay Tuned!

alright I guess you do have to have some luck but to me luck is just about match up's who's playing who if your scheme is right for the team your playing and ect!! One of the biggest problems the the Phoenix Suns will face is who is gaurding Mr. Nash because it becomes a problem for the Suns in almost every way, height speed and quickness. So down the streach it can wear steve down and they can get their shot of almost at will ie Sam Casell Tony Parker Jason Terry the list goes on and on and then we have to worry about rebounding all thought we done well at times the top teams can grab balls on us at a high rate so if our shots stop falling look out Lakers Spurs Mavricks Clippers for example can and have out rebounded us on a regular basis sorry, so I hope we go in to the playoffs with a hot shooting hand and a lot of luck.

Goooo Sunns

Well last night the #3 team in the west didn't out rebound our suns. Amare' got 23 boards and 9 or 10 were on the offensive end over #21. Tim Duncan, so our inside presence is beginning to actually show up in wins vs losses and I believe will play a large part in our playoff fates.

Dearest Mr. Bender, Of course the league's best team, (THE SUNS) CAN win it all. The question is : WILL they? As long as our Suns stay healthy, focused, calm, determined, having NO doubts, and staying on the offense ---- They WILL prevail.

In great hope .....

I think it is time to stop all the doubting. the suns are a great team. It is up to them and US as fans to keep going. Everything is lined up this year, but they have to keep going. This team has been carefully put together perfectly and now it is time for the suns to truly shine.

Gary,

It's a long way from WKOW and doing hockey games with Don Lue! and Billy Packer never looks so good outside of being your color! I use to be your neighbor in Mad town on Hilltop. Did you know Bob Whittsit of the Trailblazers and now the Seahawks was our nieghbor!
